Dance

We are learning to do creative dancing the songs we are listening to is James Brown. We had to have a imaginary bubble and make shapes out of our bodies!!! I found it really exciting and it was out of my comfort zone and it has been a great experience. I thought that the doing the twisted shapes with our bodies was one of my favorite things that we did because we could do anything we wanted to do. Here is a photo of James brown, the writer and singer of the song that we danced to!!!

sea_turtle.jpgEOTC week

On EOTC week we went to the wave pools, marae and lots of other places. It was really cool to have a wonderful experiences. One of my favorite places to go was at the wave pools. I enjoyed the wave pools because I got to play with my friends in the giant waves. Sophie and Pearl were in my group. The waves moved me from one side to another as we scream. It was the best school trip I have ever been to. The orienteering was tiring and it was cool to explore Waiatuarua reserve. I really like going to tree adventures, it gave me a challenge because it was really high. The best thing was that everyone had lots of fun and everyone was happy. People went into the hydro slide, at one point it was pitch black. I went on with Sophie but sadly we did not go more than once because everyone wanted a go. We walked to Waiaturua reserve and back for orienteering. On the way there it was really short because I was so excited I didn't notice the time go by. The orienteering was really long and the most tiring of all. My group came first in the second one that's because we found them on the first one I was so exhausted because I had hardly had any water. Overall, I think EOTC week was a really awesome thing to do and I hope we do it again next year!!!
